Lavender Lounge Gay Marketing Advice Available at SiN2.0

SAN FRANCISCO - After 12 years in the online adult entertainment industry, Lavender Lounge owner Mark Kliem has gathered a bunch of tips, tricks and marketing advice. He shared it recently in an audio podcast at SiN2.0, a social networking and news website focused on the adult industry.

The podcast is about 20 minutes long, and Kliem's portion starts about 7.5 minutes into it.

"I don't think I said anything outrageous or controversial in the interview," Kliem said. "I'm just thrilled to be chosen as a spokesman for the gay side of the industry."

The interview touched on what's popular in the gay porn market, who's making money, how to get into the business and what the future may hold.

"Since Lavender Lounge has been around a long time as a something-for-everyone site, I spent a great deal of time narrowing down the number of niches I offer," Kliem said. "It took a lot of research into various niches, so I chose some that were popular, a few that were under-served in the market, and created some niches that are completely unique."

Kliem said he has been a full-time denizen of the adult entertainment industry since the beginning of 1996. In addition to Lavender Lounge, he owns and operates LavenderLoungeBlog, LavenderLoungeVideoBlog and MuscleBearCub. The affiliate program for the websites offers 50-percent commissions.
