Jett Blakk Goes to the Mat for Dirty Bird

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Jett Blakk has wrapped production on his latest title for Dirty Bird Pictures. Ringleader takes its cues from the wrestling circuit in rural America and features the muscular men of Dirty Bird's Active Duty website in skin-tight wrestling gear.

"The idea of a crossover starring all Active Duty models is something I've wanted to do since we started Dirty Bird Pictures," said Dirty Bird owner Dink Flamingo. "Several of the guys were wrestlers, and ever since we featured a 10-minute wrestling clip, our customers have been shouting for more."

Blakk said he understands the erotic lure of wrestling for gay men.

"Fresh, hot, young, muscle-bound men wearing nothing but skin-tight spandex wrestling gear that accentuates every muscle and bulge," he said of the cast. "They're wearing nothing underneath those singlets, not even a jock."

Blakk developed the script from an allegedly true story told to him by one of the Active Duty models: A corrupt wrestling circuit manager forces his performers to have sex with him to get headlined in the show.

"Dink asked me to use that story as the basis for the film," Blakk said. "My idea was to add some Fight Club action into the mix and go from there."

Ringleader tells the tale of Brian, a former high school wrestler who is invited to audition for "Slambash!," a popular wrestling show that tours the rural small-town circuit. Promoter King B rules his wrestlers with a domineering fist. Nevertheless, Brian is eager to join the troupe until he learns the dirty secret King B is willing to protect at all costs.

Active Duty men Brock, Kasey, Kaden, Cole, Chaz, Reece, Domenic and Spencer all make their acting debuts in Ringleader.

"I think fans of Active Duty will find this very special," Blakk said. "Most of the guys have never played a character before. This is a great opportunity to see an entirely different side of these performers."

Ringleader is expected to be a two-disc fall release. Included in the bonus items are a one-hour behind-the-scenes featurette, six extended wrestling matches not seen in the movie and - for the first time in a Dirty Bird production - audio commentary by the Active Duty models, Blakk and Flamingo.

"The cast was one of the most attractive I've ever worked with," Blakk said. "Even my crew was gushing over them. And it was one of the most fun times I've had on a shoot."

Flamingo agreed: "I think fans of both Active Duty and Dirty Bird Pictures will equally love Ringleader."
