NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. - Jet Set Productions has promoted Chris Steele to head of production. Steele, a former performer and head of production for Falcon, was hired at Jet Set in March and has written, produced, and directed features such as "Just Add Water" and "Cock Tease," which are to be released October 15 and November 16, respectively. Steele will supervise, cast, produce, and market all Jet Set films, in addition to films from Jet Set's other brands, Jet Set International, Latin Heat, and Toy Boxxx.
Nick Boyias, Jet Set's president and CEO, said, "Jet Set has always produced high-quality videos with some of the industry's hottest models, such as Brett Mycles, Nickolay Petrov, and Jesse Santana. With Chris at the helm, Jet Set is sure to continue building upon this legacy."
Steele said, "My goal is for Jet Set to take its rightful place as a leader in gay adult videos by the release of one title per month, featuring the industry's best models along with fresh, hot new talent."
Steele will oversee the production of 12 films in 2008, including "On Fire!" which he co-directed with Chad Donovan. He will make his first appearance as head of Jet Set when he attends the Venus Berlin erotic show with Jet Set exclusive Jesse Santana and his boyfriend, Jet Set Man Guy Parker, who star together for the first time in December's "The F Word."
Additionally, Steele announced John M. Tegan has been hired as Jet Set's first director of marketing, saying, "Along with director and GAYVN Award-winning editor Andrew Rosen, John has produced a number of hits for Jet Set in the last year, including ‘Workload,' ‘Jet Set Fraternity Gang Bang 2,' and ‘Code Violators.' He has a knack for putting his finger on stories that resonate with our customers and for producing movies in a style that captures the viewers' attention and deepest sexual fantasies. I know these talents will serve him well as Jet Set's first director of marketing."
As marketing director, Tegan, a former producer at Charger Studio and president of COLT Studio, will produce features with Rosen, and handle media, advertising, and marketing campaigns for Jet Set and all of its brands.
Tegan said, "I have known and worked with the Jet Set team for the last year and I am thrilled about now formally joining the family, especially under the capable leadership of Chris Steele, whose work ethic and strategic vision will serve Jet Set well in the coming years."
