Jet Set Men Adds a Straight Edge

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - GAYVN Hall of Fame director Chad Donovan has signed an exclusive contract with Jet Set Men under which he will helm a new Jet Set division known as Straight Edge. The Straight Edge series will feature solo and duo scenes with an emphasis on guys who describe themselves as straight, but may be on the edge of turning gay.

Straight Edge content, which debuted Monday at the Jet Set Men website, is marketed under the slogan "Get off on the edge."

"The emphasis on straight and edgy guys strutting their stuff solo for the camera or taking the leap into fucking around with another guy, combined with the skills of an award-winning director like Donovan, will separate the content from other websites," Jet Set marketing director John Tegan said. "While others have tried the ‘straight guy' angle, we're going to take it up a notch by adding the production quality and star quality that fans now know they can only get from Jet Set."

According to Jet Set honcho Chris Steele, "In these tough economic times, there is one additional - and crucial - distinction from other, similar sites: The site is free to Jet Set members. We're not charging our premium members even a penny extra for all this added content. If you're already a member, you get it all right away: new Web videos with hot new guys and, as always, access to newly released DVDs directly online, including a library of the best videos, action and porn-star photos that Jet Set has to offer."

Added Donovan: "Straight Edge will be a terrific addition to an already sizzling site built by Chris Steele and his team, which I am thrilled to be joining. We have sought out and found some of the hottest straight guys around the country and let them strut their stuff alone or dared them to cross that line with another guy - and they have."

With the debut of Straight Edge, Jet Set Men Live has been converted into a free chat and private pay-per-view service featuring live guys 24/7/365. The changes to the Jet Set site, which was redesigned earlier this year to feature significantly beefed up content, comes as the company is also about to debut a brand-new logo on all its DVDs, starting with November release Muscle Mountain (from first-time director Tegan). That will be followed by the Blu-ray version of the October release Slide, directed by Steele.

The new logo features a silver-hued, all-caps font set against a deep, fire-engine-red background that, according to Tegan, "has more of a 21st century look" than the blue globe it replaced.
