TURIN, ITALY - The 23rd Annual GLBT Film Festival of Turin will honor the work of American gay porn actor Parker Williams, according to reports in the Italian press.
Although the overall theme of the festival, slated for April 17-25, is a tribute to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered works from Japan, Williams will be celebrated as "a versatile artist and scriptwriter and a standard in the history of the cinema," according to one of the festival's organizers. "In America, he is quite famous with connoisseurs of [gay porn]."
Williams told GAYVN he will participate in several events during his week in Turin at the festival's expense.
"I will be talking about the full scope of acting, writing and directing while speaking on the evolution of my own production company," Williams said. "I'll also be addressing the stage and theater work I've done."
