It's "Hotter Than Hell" at Raging Stallion

SAN FRANCISCO - Raging Stallion Studios has begun principal photography on Hotter Than Hell, a four-disc double feature due to be released in late June.

The film, directed by Chris Ward and Ben Leon, is a major undertaking that will take nearly two weeks to film, the directors said. The script, written by Raging Stallion Studios' Man of the Year, Steve Cruz, recounts the tale of a deal with the devil (played by Ricky Sinz) for sexual gain.

The agreement to shoot a heavily plotted movie was an unusual one for Raging Stallion.

"Steve came to me with a story, and I thought it was great," Raging Stallion president Ward said. "Steve is our Man of the Year - a title he shares with Roman Ragazzi - so we really wanted to create a special project to showcase him as the superstar that he has become. When he came to us with this story, it just felt right."

Cruz added, "It's been an exciting ride since I wrote the story back in July - watching it grow into a full-budget production. I don't think any other studio would be so quick to take me under their wing and give my ideas a chance to shine. When I presented the screenplay to Chris Ward, he was on board immediately.

"I've learned a lot about how to produce and cast a large production, and I've learned from the best. It will be exciting to see how my vision will play out in front of the cameras."

Raging Stallion allows some of its exclusive talent to be significantly involved in project development. The studio recently has begun to produce much more extravagant films: GRUNTS, Playback and Mirage, for example. Hotter Than Hell is another big-budget film with extensive sets and a large cast that has yet to be revealed publicly. Ward promised gradual "information leaks" over the two-week production period.

Daily reports from the set can be viewed at the movie's official behind-the-scenes site.
