Hyde Park, All Boys Sign Distribution Deal

SOUTH PARIS, Maine - Twink label Hyde Park Productions has signed a deal granting All Boys Distribution exclusive rights to the six films Hyde Park plans to produce in 2008, along with several films in its current catalog.

The deal is the first major studio signing in 2008 for All Boys.

The first new film to be released under the partnership will be Frisky Twinks, starring Jamie Knight and Ryan Myers (both previously seen in Twink Dreams), and Dillon Samuels and Kyros Christian (both in Oliver Twink), and introducing Devon Scott, Riley Cox, Brent Conrad and Damien Braxton. The projected street date for the movie is Feb. 15.

Hyde Park is best known for its very smooth twink models ranging from 18 to 22 years. Among the accolades the studio has received are a GAYVN Award nomination as Best Specialty Video (18-23) in 2007 for Twink Toy Story, a 2007 XBiz nomination as Best GLBT Company and an AEBN Award for Best Featured Video in 2006 (Twink Playground 2).

"I worked with Doug [Knight, the producer of Hyde Park Productions] about a year ago for a few months and always enjoyed his professionalism and attention that he gives to his productions," All Boys president and owner Rob Ragan said. "Doug and Ted are great directors and to date have directed some of the best twink videos made over the last few years."

Knight said partnering with All Boys is the first step in his company's planned expansion to markets outside the U.S.

"I wanted to start 2008 in a new direction, and after several in-house meetings, I decided to contact Rob at All Boys Distribution to represent Hyde Park Productions," he said. "Our goal this year is to reach more into the overseas market, and [All Boys] was our first choice. We produce great videos and we realize that we need to be represented by a distributor that can do the best for us, both domestically and internationally. I am looking forward to a great business relationship between us in the coming years."

"I've looked at some of the films from Hyde Park, and the quality of both camera angles and action shots is some of the best work I've seen since getting into the business," said Jayson Hanson of All Boys. "Rob has me review every studio line that comes to us for exclusive distribution, and for the niche that Hyde Park serves, they are certainly a great studio for the All Boys label to represent."

Ragan added, "I can't stress enough that I'm about quality first. Doug and Ted have always done top-shelf productions, and I'm glad when they went looking for someone to represent them, they came directly to me. It took all of 10 minutes for Doug and me to iron out the deal and agree to a formal agreement - which was nice because I hadn't talked with him for so many months. It was nice to know that they didn't forget about me."
