LAS VEGAS - HustlaBall Las Vegas 2008, the fourth annual occurrence of the party internationally known as a bastion of refined decadence, will donate a portion of its proceeds to Out 4 Immigration, an organization that seeks to address "the widespread discriminatory impact of U.S. immigration laws on the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV-positive people through education, outreach and advocacy."
Produced by Rentboy.com, the party is expected to draw a crowd of thousands when it takes place Jan. 11 at Club Krave, a celebrated gay and lesbian nightspot. HustlaBall officially starts at midnight, but a special VIP reception will open the doors to select guests at 10:30 p.m.
Porn stars, hustlers, pimps, pornographers, hedonists, exhibitionists, porn fans and the general public are invited to attend. General-admission tickets are $25 in advance; $35 at the box office. VIP admission may be had for $119 in advance or $135 at the box office.
"HustlaBall is not just another dance party: It's a world unto itself where the boundaries of sexual expression and hedonism are explored in an atmosphere of reverence and appreciation among luxurious banquettes, cabanas and bars that cater to guests' every desire," according to a spokesperson for the event. "This past October in Berlin, HustlaBall sold out its 3,000 tickets to the KitKat Club, receiving rave reviews from international partygoers. But this year's party in Las Vegas, with its enormous cast of erotic performers, fresh talent and stellar
DJs, is expected to be the best HustlaBall ever."
According to the spokesperson, one never knows who might show up at HustlaBall. At the 2007 Vegas event, Britney Spears bumped and ground her way across the dance floor with her team of bodyguards in tow, he said.
This year, DJs Brett Henrichsen of Los Angeles and Micky Friedmann of Berlin will spin tunes all night. Johnny "The Gay Pimp" McGovern will premiere the uncut release of his latest music video, "Somethin' for the Fellas," in the main room, and mega-personality Chi Chi LaRue will hold court in the VIP room all night with celebrities including Bruce Vilanch and a variety of adult-entertainment stars.
On the main stage, emcee Willam Belli (known for his role as Cherry Peck in the TV drama Nip/Tuck) will introduce an assortment of erotic performers, including more than 50 dancers and porn stars like Diesel Washington, Damien Crosse and Guy Parker.
During the pre-party VIP reception, attendees will be treated to a preview of the 2008 International Escort Award finalists, presented by Rentboy.com and McGovern.
But wait: There's more. On Thursday, an "official pre-party" will take place at Piranha from 9 p.m. until closing. On Saturday, HustlaBall's "Dirty Secret After-Party" will turn Blue Moon Resort into "a deliciously scandalous sex party" from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. The resort is a clothing-optional playland with amenities that include a tented and heated swimming pool, a fully equipped "playroom," go-go dancers and music.
HustlaBall originated in New York in 1998.
