NEW YORK - HustlaBall will celebrate its 10th anniversary Oct. 12 at Club Rebel NYC. The 2008 incarnation of the annual "sex cabaret" and mega-dance party will benefit Gay Men's Health Crisis, a not-for-profit, volunteer-supported, community-based organization committed to national leadership in the fight against AIDS.
While previous HustlaBalls have occurred in Berlin, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles, HustlaBall will return to the city where the party began in 1998, injecting a shot of decadence and glamour into New York nightlife. The party is hosted by founding producer Rentboy in association with the HX Gay Erotic Expo .
Club Rebel NYC is located four blocks from the Gay Erotic Expo (at Hammerstein Ballroom), and one block from Madison Square Garden. With three floors, four bars and four dance floors covering more than 12,000 square feet and a state-of-the-art sound system, Club Rebel will become a pleasure playground with art installations, an erotic stage show, theme rooms and six DJs.
Entertainment already scheduled for HustlaBall includes Robert Van Damme (Big Blue Productions), Diesel Washington (Titan Media), Mike Dreyden (Butch Bear), Nick Capra (Lucas) and Barrett Long. Talent management company FabScout Entertainment plans to unveil newcomers Dean Tucker, Ago Viara and Andy O'Neil, among others. More than 30 porn stars are expected to attend.
HustlaBall NY will feature the music of six international DJs rotated over the four dance floors, including Berliner Micky Friedmann, Leomeo from Madrid, New York City's Jonny Dynell and Rich King. Music will range from deep house to circuit to pop and rare grooves.
On the main stage HustlaBall will present a "sex cabaret" of sensual and scandalous erotic acts: two live music acts, a fire show and exotic fetish performances. In addition, go-go dancers and planned "erotic performances" will erupt all night long on platforms spread out throughout the club.
A unique VIP lounge will have its own go-go dancers, erotic performers, massage table and the music of "Jackie Factory" DJ Jonny Dynell, one of New York's most versatile DJs.
Club Rebel offers 37 VIP viewing tables, sofas and multiple lounges scattered throughout its three floors, and table service is available. In addition, the party will feature tables for sponsors' products and GMHC donations and outreach, and a "HustlaBall Photo Booth" installation provided by PoliteInPublic.
Pre-events will begin on Oct. 10 with a party at the Eagle NYC. On Oct. 11, Daniel Nardicio's OktoberFist: The Wurst is Yet To Come will unveil "a fisting-meets-Bavaria performance extravaganza" complete with lederhosen-clad hunks, naked bartenders and a live fisting demonstration.
Advance tickets are $18 plus a $2 charity donation; VIP tickets are $80 plus a $5 charity donation.
