Why choose a porn career?
It was a question of challenging myself, both physically and mentally. I was living at London and had a “nice boy” image that I was tired of. I wanted to show a nastier side, and to grasp a bit of fame to boost my ego. I sent photos to various studios and Michael Lucas signed me.
Favorite project so far?
I loved working on Obsession and Kings of New York because I was paired with hot guys, the scripts were really fun, and we filmed in some great locations. I loved having the chance to actually try to act, and everyone got along very well. To be honest, every movie is special—so I get excited for every project on which I’m invited to participate.
Something fans don’t know?
I’m a qualified lawyer. And I’ve also worked as a personal trainer, escort, retail manager, and a cook. I get bored easily, so I’ve tried a lot of different things!
What are your hobbies?
I’m a huge hiking enthusiast and I get a kick out of climbing volcanoes. So far, my highest elevation was 19,000 feet above sea level in Chile. I intend to go exploring in Ecuador soon, too.
Most unusual sex spot?
On top of a volcano.
Do you have any pets?
I have a pit bull. I’ve always been a dog person and a big kid at heart. My dog is my best friend. He loves me unconditionally and protects me when I hike alone.
Any on-set laughs?
Once, during an outdoor shoot, a bunch of lovely butterflies were fluttering between my partner and I—right in the middle of a sweaty action scene. I felt like Mariah Carey. All I needed was a rainbow! We burst out laughing and had to take a break.
Life lessons from the past five years?
Never take anything for granted—and don’t base your entire life on just your looks. Your looks will eventually go, so you should always have a backup plan.
