HDK, All Boys Renew Distro, Marketing Relationships

SOUTH PARIS, Maine - Hot Desert Knights has renewed its distribution and marketing contract with All Boys Distribution. All Boys will resume all sales, marketing and billing activities effective immediately, the companies announced Wednesday.

"The decision was made a few weeks ago with the opening of HDK's new East Coast office," said All Boys president Rob Ragan. "I've been representing HDK on a worldwide level, but they had been doing all of the shipping and billing through their California office."

The move changes little about how HDK products are marketed, Ragan added, aside from shipping all HDK titles from the All Boys facility in Maine.

"With the opening of our new East Coast offices, it just makes sense to have All Boys handle all shipping and billing of HDK products," HDK owner Bill Gardner said. "Rob and his staff at All Boys do an outstanding job servicing their customers, and having them handle all distribution for us allows us to focus on what we do best: film production."

Ragan said the two companies have had an excellent working relationship for years, and he's glad to see it continue.

"We have some planning for some specials we're going to do with the HDK line from here," he noted. "It's been one of the top-selling bareback studios for the past 10 years, and I've always loved the relationship I've had with Bill at HDK, and I plan on having them as a part of the All Boys family for another 10 years."

All Boys vice president Craig Rivas added, "We're getting really geared up for the fall and winter months here, and HDK is a big part of our immediate plans. HDK has been at the forefront of this industry, innovating with bareback films and literally paving the way for the now dozens and dozens of bareback studios that are currently in the market today. We believe that we need to give extra attention to the line, to keep it in every store, shop and other place that carries gay films."
