SAN FRANCISCO – Raging Stallion is throwing a “Grunts” premiere party that will benefit the Africa Jack Foundation.
DJ Junior Vasquez will spin at the October 20 Draft Party and “Grunts” stars Roman Ragazzi, Steve Cruz, Jake Deckard, Luke Hass, RJ Danvers, Justin Christopher, Antonio Biaggi, Ricky Sinz, Mason Garet, Aaron Summers, Dominic Pacifico, Kamrun, and River Fiasco will all make appearances, in addition to one by special guest Michael Brandon.
The night will kick off at Terra (511 Harrison Street) with a VIP party from 8-10 p.m. at which “Grunts” will be screened and 14 models will sign auotgraphs. Then from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. there will be a dance party with models go-go dancing.
Raging Stallion’s Kent Taylor said, “What is really exciting about this party is the beneficiary! We are helping the Africa Jack Foundation raise money to go toward a school and services needed in Africa, specifically focusing on assisting children with HIV/AIDS, which is a GIANT issue there as we all know.
It is an amazing feeling to know that we are able to help with something like this.”
Africa Jack himself told GAYVN.com, “I was a six-figure corporate guy 10 months ago.… I had a great partner, a great life, a great loft in downtown Denver, an amazing income, but I was completely unhappy. I hated my job — not the company, but what I was doing. I had to make a change.… A little trip [to Africa] gave me a whole new outlook on life. The foundation is a creation of a bottle of wine, a lot of snow, and a leather sofa. That’s how we came up with this concept of how to raise $10,000 to build an orphanage and a school.… I’ve been very fortunate to have that partnership with Michael Brandon and the studio.… We’ve been embraced from every angle and aspect, not only in the gay community, but here in Oakland, too.”
The Africa Jack Foundation was created to raise money to build learning centers for children in Africa who have been affected by AIDS. Jack said he expects to raise in excess of $50,000 profit from the “Grunts” party, “which will pay for the cost of buying supplies and paying people to build a learning center, which will teach and enhance world and local skills to children in anticipation of the kids receiving better, higher-paying jobs.”
