Grey Rose Productions, Mack Studios Combine Forces

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Performers-turned-producers Jake Mitchell and Mack Manus have formed a partnership that will see them and their studios working and playing together.

The men believe the combination will make their companies - Grey Rose Productions in the U.S. and Mack Studios in Europe - and their products stronger and give them wider exposure internationally.

Mitchell said he is "beyond excited" about the new arrangement.

"I couldn't be more thrilled to be working with Mack Manus," he said. "He is a visionary; he knows how to make a truly hot product. We share a similar style.

"Plus," Mitchell added, "he is one fucking hot stud."

Both men said the business arrangement makes perfect sense. The studios have similar audiences, and their videos are similar in that they feature scenes ranging from aggressive sex to romance without skipping a beat or a hard-on. The action usually focuses on guys who like hot, sweaty, tough, hardcore, dominant, passionate man-on-man action, daddy scenes, leather, body hair and bears. Both studios focus on the heat generated by the performers, regardless of age or physical appearance. Both men said they created their studios to present more diversity in gay porn.

"I've watched and enjoyed the Grey Rose brand for some time," said Manus, who speaks both French and German. "Jake and I both started our companies about the same time. We share a very similar philosophy about the men we hire."

How will the studios work together?

"We are going to start selling the terrific and very hot Mack Studios videos on the Grey Rose website, and we are also going to have his scenes available for members on my Jake Mitchell site, too," Mitchell said.

Mitchell and Manus met via the web. Despite the language barrier (Manus speaks little English), they became friends through online chat. When they met in person at last, it was in Paris.

"Once [Manus] arrived at my flat - and I saw his sexy smile and eyes, wavy hair and beefy body - I knew that we would be able to get past our language barrier," Mitchell said.

Not only do Mitchell and Manus have similar styles, studios and video product, but they also have similar taste in men. Look for their first scene together - in which they tag-team hunky J.C. Carter - soon.
