NEW YORK—Rentboy.com has published its third annual calendar: “The Working Men of Rentboy.com 2010.” The product, which bears the tagline “money can’t buy you love, but the rest is negotiable,” displays the photography of Gio Caruso.
According to a Rentboy spokesman, “These are the real men of Rentboy.com, the delicious website where you can rent a man to sate your wildest desires.”
Each of the 70 photos of well-known gay adult performers, escorts and boyfriends-for-hire is accompanied by quotes from and a bio of the subject. Thirteen of the men are porn stars with names like Nick Capra, Josh Hart, Arpad Miklos and Tommy Defendi.
Caruso’s photography can be found in magazines ranging from Men and Freshmen to mainstream fashion and physique publications. He has provided still photography and video services to productions helmed by Chi Chi LaRue, Michael Lucas, Robert Van Damme and Raging Stallion Studios. In addition, Caruso’s work adorns popular gay websites like CockyBoys.com, PerfectGuyz.com, BadPuppy.com and MassiveStudio.com. Caruso and his life partner of 16 years, Howard Andrew, also own and operate the artist-management agency FabScout Entertainment.
“The Working Men of Rentboy.com 2010” comprises 28 full-color pages. It is available for $15.95 from Prerogatives and is expected to appear soon on bookstore and boutique shelves and at Amazon.com.
