Gay Erotic Vampire Series ‘The Lair' Seeks New Cast Members

LOS ANGELES - The Lair, the popular gay erotic vampire series on here! TV, has issued a casting call for several recurring roles and "crowd scene" members to appear during the show's third season. Screen Actors Guild membership is not required to audition.

The series incorporates simulated sexual situations and male-on-male sexuality. The roles up for grabs include Athan, a 20- to 30-something man described as "dangerous and sexy" (nudity and male-on-male love scenes required); Harris, a handsome, smart bookstore owner in his 20s or 30s (nudity and male-on-male love scenes); Dennis, a young, rebellious loner between 18 and 30 (possible nudity); Tad, a handsome corporate type in his 20s or 30s (no nudity); Dr. Kent, a 20- to 30-year-old ethnic doctor (no nudity); "sexy bar guy" Charlie, who is between 18 and 30 (nudity and male-on-male love scenes); drug dealer Marcus, who is 18-30 (no nudity); 18- to 30-year-old bar patron Bobby (no nudity); police officer Campbell, who is between 18 and 30 (no nudity); bar owner Matt, who is in his late 20s or 30s (no nudity); and Matthews, a 30- to 40-something mysterious stranger (possible sensuality).

No nudity or sexuality will be required of the crowd players, who will be cast in non-speaking roles.

"We want to audition porn stars who are serious about crossing over and doing something mainstream," said casting director Gino Colbert. "The show is produced by the company that bought Specialty Publications, so any porn stars interested could expect great publicity."

Adult entertainers Zak Spears, Dean Phoenix, Damon Phoenix, Jason Crew, Johnny Hazzard, Colton Ford, Cole Ryder, Tyler Saint, Marco Paris, Park Wiley, Michael Von Steele and Brad Benton (as Dylan Vox) have appeared on the show.

Filming is scheduled to occur Nov. 22 through Dec. 21 in Los Angeles.
