G&G, Pacific Sun Part Ways Again

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Jamie Hendrix' G&G Media Inc., which has produced two DVDs since Hendrix' return to adult entertainment earlier this year, seems to have found a revolving door at Pacific Sun Entertainment. The adult filmmaker said Dec. 16 that both of his movies - the hardcore feature Friendly Force and the softcore romp Curious - no longer will be available from the Northridge, Calif.-based distributor.

The announcement was the fourth about the relationship since Sept. 2, when the companies first publicized an exclusive distribution deal that fell apart in late October and then was revived Nov. 3.

On Tuesday Hendrix said G&G will handle its own distribution going forward. The agreement to leave Pacific Sun was amicable, he noted.

"I still feel great about Friendly Force and Curious, but because of decline in the ever-changing DVD market and lack of sales, I have decided it's best to keep all [distribution] in-house," he said. "I am confident that the movies will find their way slowly into all the retailers that demand my excellent video products."

Requests for information and pricing may be directed to Hendrix by email or phoned in to (310) 464-1706.

Hendrix began his career in adult entertainment as a Falcon Studios model in 1988. He left adult in 2000 to pursue mainstream interests, but returned in 2008. Friendly Force, which debuted in late September with a Hollywood-style red-carpet launch party, is his first hardcore film since returning to adult.
