SAN FRANCISCO - The first half of a new two-part title from Falcon Studios has hit the streets.
Best Men - Part 1: The Bachelor Party stars Falcon exclusive Tony Capucci as the groom in a classic Las Vegas bachelor party tale of pre-wedding pranks, drinking and sexual debauchery. The film weaves between several party scenarios and the sexual encounters each member of the bachelor party experiences.
"Best Men - Part 1 was filmed entirely in Las Vegas, and considering the subject matter I couldn't have imagined it being shot anywhere else," director John Bruno commented. "This is as realistic as it can get."
Filming at iconic Las Vegas locations such as the nightclub Piranha, the infamous gay resort Blue Moon and the historic Las Vegas Strip added atmosphere that complemented the star-studded cast, Bruno said.
"I was literally star-struck by working with the likes of Erik Rhodes, Roman Heart, Matthew Rush, Tony Capucci and Zeb Atlas all in the same film," he said. "They are all true professionals and gave award-worthy performances."
Just as any party in Las Vegas can produce some good controversy, the film generated its share. Notably, Best Men - Part 1 features the now-infamous oral scene between Rush and Atlas, which has ranked among the best sellers on Falcon's video-on-demand site.
"This film was talked about well before it ever went into production, heavily talked about throughout production and extensively talked about even after production of Part 2 wrapped," director of promotion Troy Prickett said. "I guess it's almost fitting to say that what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas."
Best Men - Part 2: The Wedding Party picks up in Los Angeles the night before Capucci's wedding day. Although he doesn't know it, his Las Vegas bachelor party will come back to haunt him. Part 2 will feature the first-ever hardcore sex scene between Atlas and another man, something Atlas fans have awaited.
"Together, Zeb Atlas and newcomer Killian are pure dynamite," Prickett said. "Their sex scene is definitely explosive. Atlas and Killian worked together for two days prior to filming, carefully choreographing their scene so it would be just right. They are both consummate professionals."
The Atlas-Killian scene is scheduled for online release Sept. 26. The full film will be available online Oct. 14 and in brick-and-mortar stores Oct. 28.
