SAN FRANCISCO - Prerogatives LLC will be the exclusive U.S. importer of the 2008 Dieux du Stade calendar (the title of which means "Gods of the Stadium"), which has been published annually since 2001 and features nude and seminude European athletes photographed in glossy, homoerotic splendor.
This year famed celeb photog Steven Klein provides 33 color photographs "hinting at bondage, voyeurism, narcissism, exhibitionism, and myth," according to Prerogatives' marketing director, Robert Bass. He added, "The Dieux du Stade calendar is our hottest and best–selling calendar, and we're thrilled to be the U.S. distributor this year."
San Francisco-based wholesale distributor Prerogatives will distribute the calendar to stores and to online outlets, including ADLBooks.com, TLAVideo.com, and BuyGay.com . With a suggested retail price of $49.99, the calendar is set to hit stores October 30.
