LOS ANGELES—Devil’s Film has announced the creation of Devil’s Male, a sister studio that will produce gay content.
The first feature to be released under the Devil’s Male imprint is titled Perverts and was directed by multiple award-winning gay film director Gino Colbert.
“This was an excellent fit for [Devil’s Film parent company] Media Products, as we have greatly excelled in both the transsexual and bisexual genres. It was only fitting that we create a quality gay line shot here by a great director like Gino,” Devil’s Film National Sales Manager Steve Volponi.
Perverts stars Adam Russo, Gianni Luca, Troy Michaels, Tristan Matthews, Jared Michaels, Emilio Sands, John Marcus, Lex Sabre and Robert Van Damme.
“I think there’s opportunity in the gay market for us if it’s quality enough,” Volponi told AVN. “Gino turns in a great product. He did a really good job. If you’re gonna do it, you might as well come out swinging.”
Volponi anticipates Devil’s Male will street at least six titles per year.
