NEW YORK - Dark Alley Distribution, a subsidiary of Dark Alley Media, has added Spanish gay adult movie producer Jalif Studio to its catalog of international imports.
Filled with what a Dark Alley spokesperson called "refreshingly uninhibited young sex pigs," Jalif's movies include hardcore sex, fisting, solo scenes and watersports.
"We are very proud of our deal with Dark Alley Media," Jalif Studio head Frank Romero said. "For us, it was very important to find someone in the States we could trust to distribute our productions, [who] could market them in such a big area. I have always liked the films [Dark Alley] makes, and I think they understand our brand very well."
The deal will begin with three films to be distributed during the remainder of 2007: Dirty Raw Bastards, Kings of Piss and Solos Casting: Barcelona, Vol 1. All star young, sexy Spanish guys behaving very badly, Romero said. Models travel from all over Europe to perform in Jalif movies, he added. In fact, Martin Mazza - who bears a tattoo begging for "more" on his ass - is among the studio's list of performers.
Dark Alley Distribution will follow this year's releases with 12 movies in 2008, all under the Dark Alley International label.
Jalif is not the first international studio to see U.S. distribution by Dark Alley. In May, the distributor acquired exclusive rights to Prime Pork's entire catalog. Dark Alley also has deals with Eastern European company Bubble B and New York's Dragon Media.
