Gentlemen's Video Inc. has signed gay performer Damon Phoenix to a 1-year non-exclusive contract. Phoenix's company, Phoenix Rising Productions, will release 12 pictures within the next year in conjunction with Gentlemen's Video.
Phoenix, the 2006 GAYVN Newcomer of the Year, will produce and direct all 12 films.
Michael Esposito of Gentlemen's Video says, "We're real excited about Damon coming on board and having him add to our line of gay and bisexual titles. We think this is a great oppurtunity for our company as well as for Damon."
Phoenix says, "I have met many studios in my life but I haven't seen one that has more honor and integrity than Gentlemen's Video."
Gentlemen's Video is creating a monthly marketing campaign to promote each new film. The first coproduction will kick off in September.
