LOS ANGELES — GAYVN Award—nominated performer Dallas Reeves is among the men vying for a coveted mainstream-modeling contract with the prestigious Ford modeling agency.
Reeves, who on April 21 was ranked 40th out of more than 400 contestants, was nominated for Best Group Scene twice during this year's GAYVN Awards season: once for Bottom of the Ninth: Little Big League 3 (All Worlds Video) and once for Dare (Falcon Studios).
"My boyfriend, Baileey, entered me in the contest," Reeves, 23, told GAYVN.com. "Modeling has interested me since I was a child. I have dreamt of being in New York, Los Angeles and Europe as a model.
"I have been modeling for the past two years, and everyone tells me I should be a model with my height," the six-foot, two-inch tall performer added. "I have done some runway work as well as print ads. It is time to do more."
The online contest is sponsored by Ford Models and V magazine. The winner, to be determined at least in part by public votes, will be awarded a contract with Ford and will be featured on the cover of VMan11, according to the website.
"No matter how I do in the contest, I will continue to pursue my modeling career," Reeves told GAYVN.com. "I am very grateful for all the support from my friends and family."
The contest ends May 31, and website visitors may vote for their favorite model once per day.
