When Axel Brooks made his debut on MenAtPlay.com, it was quite a surprise—because he had formerly been known as a successful mainstream model. The 30-year-old Brooks hails from Barcelona and he’s got a look that is instantly recognizable. With his amazing physique, handsome face and sly grin, Brooks was made to be a star. He has worked for some of the industry’s best studios, but his work with MenAtPlay.com remains our favorite.
How did you get into porn?
It all happened by chance. I was working in telecommunications and I needed a change in my life. As luck would have it, that was when I was approached to do some porn work. I decided to give it a go—and I loved it.
Are you single?
At the moment I only have a relationship with my job. I’m trying to learn as much as I can about the industry and to improve. You have to treat your work like a boyfriend, devoting yourself to it and caring for it.
Something folks don’t know about you?
I love cooking for all my friends. It’s one of my passions, and I’m actually quite good at it. I take pleasure from seeing my friends eating my food.
Most unusual sex spot?
A ferry between Barcelona and Ibiza in August of 2007. It was actually some of the best sex I’ve ever had.
Any pets?
I’ve always loved animals. When I was young I had four dogs, a duck and a cat. I’d love to get a bulldog now, but it’s a big responsibility.
A pivotal life experience?
The day that Nacho Silva knocked on my door and suggested I try doing porn work. I will always be grateful to him for that. He is the best agent in the business.
Lessons from the past five years?
In recent years I’ve become a much more mature person. Life has given me a crash course, so I’ve grown up quickly. I’ve learned, above all, to look out for myself—because no one else is going to do it. And to avoid falling in love too easily.
