Cybersocket Outsources Forum Management to DoubleStrick

LOS ANGELES - Cybersocket has contracted DoubleStrick to manage and further develop its webmaster networking community, The Gay Board.

DoubleStrick was founded by brother and sister team Joe and Rainey Stricklin. Both of the Stricklins are adult entertainment industry veterans. Rainey Stricklin began her career at WebSideStory Inc. managing the sales, marketing and design departments. She went on to form her own advertising agency, Detour Interactive, and later worked for Internet Commerce Group as director of sales. In addition, she has contributed to a variety of industry publications and has participated in panel discussions at industry trade shows.

Joe Stricklin began his adult industry career with contract work from his sister. He also spent three years on staff at CCBill before being named vice president of sales and marketing for ICG, which operates Celebrity Cash, XXX Cash and Military Cash.

As DoubleStrick, the Stricklins have consulted with Badpuppy, Intense Cash and Pistol Media.

According to the Stricklins, the key to a successful webmaster board is providing useful content in the areas of education, strategic partnerships, networking and tutorials. They said they plan to bring all those areas to The Gay Board. In addition, they plan to take more active roles in moderating the forums and to work on filtering out troublesome spam.

"Our goal is to make it a true business resource for the gay market, complete with networking opportunities, business discussions, tutorials and more," Rainey Stricklin said.
