LOS ANGELES – Cybersocket magazine has revealed its list of the “Top 50 [Gay] Porn Stars” to watch in 2009. The roll call includes both perennial favorites and up-and-comers along with their sexual orientation, vital statistics, astrological sign and the reasons the magazine’s editors believe they are poised to leave an indelible mark on gay porn this year.
“With new studios and models debuting every day, it can be hard to keep track of who’s on top,” Cybersocket writer Danny Valle noted. “Our guide to the top 50 porn stars is by no means complete or impartial, but it does showcase this year’s cast of stars: movers and shakers who have caught our eyes and who stand poised to leave their own distinctive marks on the industry.”
Chi Chi LaRue’s Channel 1 Releasing was particularly pleased with the Cybersocket Top 50, as the studio’s entire roster of exclusives was included. Johnny Hazzard was billed as “the most recognizable porn star on the planet,” and Blake Riley, Jeremy Bilding, Cameron Marshall and Vance Winter also got nice props.
“I always say it makes me the most happy when the people who work with me win awards,” C1R co-founder and partner LaRue said. “Well, that’s definitely the case here. I couldn’t be happier for all my boys. They all work so hard and deserve this honor without a doubt.”
