Cruz, Gobo Begin Production on ‘Red Light'

SAN FRANCISCO - Steve Cruz and Leif Gobo have begun production on the second title in their planned Color Box trilogy for Falcon Entertainment's Mustang Studios. Red Light will take an erotic look at the gay-sex-for-hire business.

The movie stars Josh West, Jake Dakota, Leo Giamani, Vince Ferelli, Diesel Washington, Bruno Bond and Tyler Saint, all as men who "put out" for pay or the johns who hire them.

Red Light includes four hardcore scenarios. In the first, West and Dakota portray street hustlers who do each other a favor in a back alley. Next, Giamani picks up street trick Ferelli for a backseat romp in his car. In the third, high-class pimp Washington gives lessons to a new protégé. The fourth exposes a different kind of lesson as powerful executive Bond hires Saint to tie him up and take control.

Acclaimed erotic photographer Joe Oppedisano once again will join the Cruz-Gobo team on the set. While in San Francisco for production, Oppedisano also will headline a Dec. 6 autograph party for his book Uncensored at Does Your Mother Know. The store is located in the city's Castro district.

Red Light is set for a mid-February release on both the Web and DVD.

Blue Movie, the trilogy's first installment, is due for release Dec. 23. It pays homage to classic porn flicks of the 1970s and '80s.
