As reality shows on broadcast and cable channels continue to grab huge audiences, the craze has also grown exponentially in the gay porn world. No one knows that better than TopBucks.

"Our owner started out simply zipping porn pics and selling them on the Net," notes KevinK, TopBucks marketing associate. "He took off from there, formed an affiliate program, hit the street with niche sites, and then commissioned the shooting of the program’s own reality sites. We’ve never looked back."

TopBucks currently has six gay reality sites that it updates each week, and also does business in the straight industry. "You need less gay traffic in order to make a sale," says KevinK. "Gay members remain, on average, members longer."

The gay reality sites include TwinksForCash, GayBlindDateSex, HisFirstHugeCock, HisFirstGaySex, and HisFirstFacial. Each site is 100 percent exclusive and features amateurs who get off "strutting their junk."

"We just released GayCollegeSexParties and it’s taken off like a rocket. Each episode we throw a party, invite some of the hottest male college underclassmen, get them tipsy and turn them loose on each other," says KevinK. "The stuff’s totally unscripted and, for young guys, these dudes really know how to go to town on each other."

If the sites sound familiar, they should. TopBucks owns Pink Visual Productions, its DVD arm that releases movies from its gay reality sites. The company has released more than 20 gay (and 85 straight) titles.

"The popularity of high-speed Internet access exponentially increased the demand for movies," says KevinK. "Plus, the popularity of reality television… these events led to our entry into exclusive reality content, which is responsible for our insane growth as a company."

TopBucks contracts with a handful of production companies to shoot its content. Its content manager is responsible for reviewing outside content feeds and determines if they are integrated into their member areas.

"Our sites are our exclusive content plus supplementary content feeds from other vendors," says KevinK. "Our goal is to provide members with quality content that is updated frequently and provide them with unparalleled customer support."

It's those sites that make TopBucks stand out in the ever-expanding sea of content. "The only place where you can promote GayGollegeSexParties, for instance, is TopBucks. That’s a big deal because we aren’t running a cookie-cutter program. Our content is real and it’s hot, and if you’re a serious webmaster this is what you are looking for in a program."

KevinK notes that the key to the company's success has been offering sites that feature exclusive content, and treating webmasters like kings, offering no-gimmick payouts and paying on time. TopBucks also just released the AllGayRealityPass, which gives surfers access to all the gay reality sites with one membership. TopBucks also has 19 gay niche sites that range from black, Asian, and bear to muscle, cartoon, and fetish.

Each of the company's gay sites is backed by more than 100 unique tours and more than 1,000 static movie and picture galleries. TopBucks also provides webmasters with a large amount of downloadable content that includes movie clips and hi-res pictures, as well as RSS gallery feeds that they can automate and pump into blogs. "I’d be an idiot if I didn’t add that we pay up to $42 on $4.95 trials, or do eighty percent revshare — two of the highest payouts in the business," says KevinK.

PlugInFeeds, TopBucks' reality plug-in content product, repackages movies in its gay reality sites and lets webmasters offer them to their members. "Currently, we have five gay reality feeds and expect to release our gay college sex movies in time for Internext Florida," he adds. "PlugInFeeds works with nearly all the industry’s top-tier affiliate programs, but also claims a huge segment of the new webmasters and high-growth programs."

Feeds are updated weekly and feature optional upsells and bandwidth maintenance tools, and start at $99 a month. In addition, to celebrate its eighth anniversary this year, TopBucks is running a promo throughout the summer paying webmasters $88 per join. The most challenging part of the business, notes director of sales and marketing Lea Busick, is keeping ahead of all the competition.

"There are more and more players in the industry today, and so it’s not enough to rest on our laurels. We consistently strive to improve our site design, business model and offerings to remain ahead of the game," she says, adding that TopBucks will be adding new webmaster bonuses and launching some new gay sites later this year.

"We are on an unending quest to grow the business. We’ll continue to develop new technologies, offer new solutions and find unique ways to raise the bar and do business within the community."
