CHICAGO - BigDikFactory has added offbeat comedy to its repertoire. The company on Tuesday announced it will produce comical fart content in video, cartoon and cell-phone formats.
Executed by frat boys and jocks, the first of the new scenes are available inside the members' area of the producer's website.
"The first DVD pertaining to this outrageous fetish, I Never Promised You a Rose Garden, is in production and will be available this fall," said BigDikFactory house director Toby Ross. "We will not repeat the scratch-and-sniff gimmick. I think that's overdoing it."
The DVD will not comprise a fart marathon, Ross promised.
"That shit could kill you," he said. "Rather, regular stories that have embedded comical fart ‘snippets' in them [will be the rule]. Besides, we are already notorious for our big dicks, so it makes sense that now the big dicks and fart tornados go well together."
Ross said the idea was generated by two factors: He saw a need in the gay industry for "offbeat" content, and he's hoping the fetish niche will enliven sales in a sluggish economy.
"Things are getting slow, and we need to start relying more on ourselves and depending less on our distributors and retailers," he said. "Sales with our chief vendors - we will not mention names - have gone into the toilet this spring, which has inspired me to do this. A brain fart? I hope not. With the price of ‘gas' hitting an all-time high and everyone searching for alternatives, we thought we might give it a shot as well.
"Besides, we are based in Chicago," Ross added. "They don't call it the Windy City for nothing."
