Colt Studio Star Karim Dead at 52

WILTON MANORS, Fla.—Colt Studio Group performer and professional bodybuilder Karim was found dead Jan. 28 in a high rise apartment building where he lived with his partner.

According to FloridaAgenda.com the 52-year-old Montreal native was discovered “unattended” in his bath tub.

Karim, who's real name was Christian Bouthillette, was a popular local bodybuilder, fitness trainer and one-time Colt performer. The official cause of death is still pending, but according to reports, the buff Bouthillette died of a massive heart attack.

A source told the Agenda that Bouthillette had been arrested the weekend before his death for cocaine related offenses. The same source also stated that a note had been found on the scene by investigators.

Bouthillette was an award-winning bodybuilder and started personal training in 1998.

Ken Hunt, who employed Bouthillette for years, said that “Christian was a very dear friend of mine. He was a sweet person whose biggest muscle was his heart.”

As Karim, Bouthillette was a well-known Colt model who starred in numerous titles for the studio including Good n' Plenty and Dual - Taking It Like a Man.
