Clearwater Wraps Gay Suspense Thriller Kiss the Boys

Clearwater Entertainment, the non-X production company founded by former gay porn star Jamie Hendrix, has just completed filming its first mainstream gay suspense thriller, Kiss the Boys, Hendrix announced in a press release Friday.

The film was shot in Los Angeles and will have a limited theatrical release followed by distribution in major video retail outlets.

Clearwater's softcore Reflections: A Spring Break Fantasy was nominated for a 2005 GAYVN Award in the Best Alternative Release category. The movie, now a Greenwood/ Cooper release, is distributed by 10% Productions.

Another Clearwater movie directed by Hendrix, the gay-themed Curious, was filmed in Australia and is distributed in the U.S. by Ariztical Entertainment.

"Kiss the Boys began as an upscale homoerotic film, but it progressed pretty much into a full-fledged, scary feature film with beautiful young men in their undies," said Hendrix.
