Chi Chi LaRue Hosts Grand Opening Party

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. - Chi Chi LaRue held a gala opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for his new store called, simply, Chi Chi LaRue's. The famed director looked sleek and svelte in an orange pantsuit and pink hair that matched the décor of the store that, according to LaRue, is the only gay owned- and operated store of its kind in Los Angeles.

Shirtless hunks made their way through the crowd of industry folk and fans alike offering flutes of champagne. There were Chi Chi LaRue's T-shirts available as well to attendees who browsed products including, among other items, calendars, novelties, condoms, clothing, lubricants, and DVDs, including the entire Channel 1 Releasing catalog, including all Rascal, All Worlds, Catalina and Dirk Yates libraries.

Partygoers included stars like Johnny Hazzard, Barrett Long, TJ Young, Luca di Corso, Jared Michaels, and Blake Riley, who told GAYVN.com that after attending The Trevor Project's Cracked Christmas 11 charity event December 14, he's in talks to lend his star power to help the gay youth crisis charity. Other notables present included Channel 1's Rob Novinger and Tony Rios, preeminent porn star host Jason Sechrest, gay porn blogger JC Adams, Unzipped Media's Ken Knox and Brian Lindsey, Cybersocket's Morgan Sommer and Danny Valle and writer Mickey Skee.

An after party followed at Apple restaurant and lounge.

The store, located at 8932 Santa Monica Boulevard, will open to the public Monday, December 15 at 10 a.m.
