COLT Launches New Online Image Viewer

SAN FRANCISCO - When COLT Studio Group re-launched its website last year, the company realized it had far more images in its library than the studio or its fans could sort. The studio will celebrate its 42nd anniversary in 2009, and over more than four decades COLT has collected hundreds of thousands of pictures.

The quest for an image-classification and -viewing system was on.

The all-new COLT Men image-viewing system was launched last week. Website visitors can find it in the "Men" section of the studio's website. The tool allows users to sort COLT's images by criteria, and then presents the results in an organized, thumbnailed fashion.

"Not since we started testing this new functionality did even I know how many iconic COLT Men images were available online to members," said COLT President and Creative Director John Rutherford. "All of us here at the COLT Studio Group headquarters have been pleasantly surfing our own website while our jaws hang to our keyboards, so will you."
