Buckshot's Big Rig Screens at Powerhouse for San Francisco Gay Pride

Buckshot Productions has partnered with the Powerhouse Bar on Folsom Street to host a screening and premiere party for the John Rutherford feature Big Rig on Saturday, June 24.

“We're bringing in superstars Gus Mattox and Colby Taylor, and Buckshot Man Brian Hansen for the event,” said Rutherford. “We’ll have the actual 'big rig' from the movie parked in front of the bar and we'll screen the movie in its entirety inside the trailer for everyone to enjoy.”

Big Rig star Gus Mattox is coming out of retirement for the event. "Big Rig was such a great cap to my career — the movie's scorching and the shoot itself was the best experience I had in the two years I worked in the business," Mattox said. "So I was really pumped when Buckshot asked me to take part in the premiere party at Powerhouse Bar. Even though I'm a native New Yorker, Gay Pride in San Francisco has always been my favorite, so I'm always happy to do my part for the weekend festivities. I'm even growing back the itchy beard I wore in the movie just for the occasion. What I won't do for my art."

In addition to the screening and party, COLT Studio Group is also sponsoring a float on the flatbed of Big Rig's 18-wheeler in Sunday's Pride Parade. COLT Studio Group Men scheduled for flatbed duty are Gage Weston, Luke Garrett, Carlo Masi, Chris Wide, Skye Woods, Brian Hansen, Danny Roddick, Alex Chandler, Gus Mattox, and Colby Taylor.

COLT Men Carlo Masi, Luke Garrett, Gage Weston, Chris Wide, and Skye Woods will participate in another Pride event, signing at Virgin Megastore Downtown (5th and Market) on Saturday, June 24, at 3:00 p.m. They will also appear at the Virgin Megastore Tent at the Pride Festival at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday after the Parade.

The same fab five will star in the COLT Muscle Show Sunday night at the PleasuredomeSF Dance Party. Pleasuredome is at Porn Palace, 942 Mission St. The event begins at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available only in advance from PleasuredomeSF.com or 415-820-1616.
