NEW HAVEN, Conn.—Award-winning female-to-male transsexual adult performer Buck Angel has been invited to give a keynote address and participate in a panel discussion during Sex Week at Yale 2010.
Sex Week at Yale is an interdisciplinary program designed to pique academia’s interest in sex, intimacy and relationships through interactive events, Angel explained. Last year’s event brought together authors, professors, television personalities, filmmakers and celebrities from around the world to take part in thought-provoking presentations, performances, discussions and screenings. The 2010 event is scheduled to take place Feb. 8-14.
Angel’s events will occur Feb. 13-14. During a “masters tea” scheduled for Feb. 13, Angel plans to deliver a keynote address titled “Buck Angel: Uncensored.” The following day he will participate in a panel discussion about race and gender in the adult entertainment industry.
“I was blown away when I received the call to be a part of this important event,” Angel said. “Sex Week at Yale is a great platform to educate people about sexuality, gender and identity politics. I am very proud to be associated with the nation’s most acclaimed college sex celebration.”
An award-winning actor, activist, producer and educator, Angel currently hosts a weekly web show, Bucking the System. For more about Angel, visit BuckAngelEntertainment.com.
