SAN DIEGO, Calif.—Gay adult performer Brent Everett and his husband, Steve Pena, plan to celebrate their first anniversary Oct. 3 with a porn-packed party to benefit the NOH8 Campaign. NOH8 is a Los Angeles-based photo project and silent protest founded by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley to bring attention to the inequity of California’s Proposition 8, which in November amended the state’s constitution to ban same-sex marriage.
The Everett-Pena event will be hosted by porn blogger Jason Sechrest of JasonCurious.com and DJ-ed by GAYVN Hall of Fame directrix Chi Chi LaRue. Special guests including Marcellas Reynolds of the reality TV series Big Brother are expected to attend.
Everett plans to perform live on stage along with several compadres from Sechrest’s DV8 Casting talent-management agency: Jason Pitt (Dripping Wet 2, Falcon Studios), Spencer Whitman (CorbinFisher.com model), Chase Harding (BoyCrush.com model), Jason King and Justin Chambers. In addition, Everett DVDs including Brent Everett: Superstar, Sized Up and Little Big League 2: 2nd Inning will be given away.
Doors open at 9 p.m. at Universal Hillcrest, located at 1202 University Ave. The first 200 attendees will receive a NOH8 temporary tattoo and photo.
