CYBERSPACE - Where would reality TV be without the gay adult entertainment industry? It appears the genre would cease to exist without the seemingly endless talent pool waiting in porn's wings for a chance to grab 15 minutes of fame in Middle America's living rooms.
The latest reality contestant to be outed goes by the name "Michael" on Bravo's Step It Up & Dance. Apparently, the 24-year-old Houstonian and former military brat has a gay-porn past. He has appeared suggestively naked on at least one gay Latin-lover website: LatinBoyz, which claims to contain "the hottest nude Latino amateur models."
"Dancing is his heart," though, according to his bio on Bravo's website. "He has performed in major shows for Kelly Rowland, Hilary Duff and four-time Grammy Award winner Christina Aguilera, among others." In addition, he considers himself an agent for change. According to the bio, Michael is passionately involved with charities that teach and host dance-mentoring programs, LGBT organizations, handicapped Americans and underprivileged minority communities.
No one said porn and altruism were mutually exclusive.
