BoyCrush Offers Halloween Treat: 'Nightmare on Twink Street'

PHOENIX, Ariz.—Just in time for Halloween, BoyCrush Studios has once again tapped into the horror genre to create a seasonal twink treat—a follow-up to last year’s Twinkblood. Drawing inspiration from Wes Craven’s Elm Street classics, Nightmare on Twink Street combines horror-film parody with bondage action and every fetish the BoyCrush staff could think of.

An official DVD release party will be held Oct. 28 at Forbidden Night Club (6820 E. Fifth Ave., Scottsdale, Ariz.). The entire cast will be present from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., signing autographs and posing for red carpet photos. DJ performances from Boycrush’s Andy Kay and DJ Red.

The plotline, according to a synopsis provided by BoyCrush, involves a gay man named Freddy who, in the early 1900s, lived with his male lover in the American Southwest. His lover was captured and tortured by an intolerant, homophobic mob, and though Freddy was able to free his lover, he was later killed. Years after Freddy’s death, the children and grandchildren of the townspeople experience terrifying nightmares involving a man who takes his sexually driven revenge on his innocent and often virginal victims.

Dean Holland, Jordan Ashton, Nathan Stratus, Roxy Red and Ashton Cody play the youths who are haunted in their dreams by the ghost of Freddy (played by Ryan Conners). As their nightmares grow more violent, Dean and his friends realize they must find a way to stop the psychopath’s reign of terror—or never sleep safe again.

Director Bryan Kenny said, “I’ve always been a huge fan of horror/slasher movies, and after the overwhelming success of Twinkblood last year, I decided to put together another for this Halloween. This film, in terms of special effects, soundtrack and overall realism, is our best yet. I hope our fans are ready for what we come up with next.”

Production manager Andy Kay explained, “This film was a huge challenge for me due to its large cast, complex storyline, and suspense and action sequences, which often needed additives like special effects and original music on a much greater scale than normal. Without the amazing performers showcased in this movie, this definitely would not have been possible.”

The official trailer can be viewed on YouTube. X-rated and R-rated trailers can be downloaded at MediaFire.com.
