Black Viking Releases ‘HandyMan 7'

CANOGA PARK, Calif. - HandyMan 7, the latest volume in Tina Tyler's solo-male-action series for Black Viking and Mercenary Pictures, hit stores Dec. 11. The DVD includes nine men: Brett Bryant, Domenic Kane, Spencer Slade, Cyrus King, Pauly Harker, Frank Towers, Sergio Roho, Bryan Braxton and Jarrod Steed.

Black Viking Pictures, a subsidiary of Mercenary, produces titles for the transsexual, female and gay audiences. Although the HandyMan series was shot with women in mind, Tyler said the series appeals equally to the gay market.

"There's always talk about the female market in the adult industry," Tyler said. "HandyMan has always been a series shot for that female market, but the difference is that it's shot by a woman. The reception each new addition to this series receives proves that there is a real women's market and that it's starving for quality movies - that's in addition to the growing word-of-mouth popularity of the movies in the gay market."

Lexington Steele, owner of Mercenary Pictures and Black Viking, said Tyler has a rare talent for finding a new market and successfully serving it.

"Tina knew what most women wanted to see is what most men want to see: Good-looking people of the opposite sex naked and having fun," Steele said. "While it seems simple, a solo-guy series for women was something that no one else had thought of. It took someone as tuned in as Tina to bring HandyMan to the market.

"Her instincts also serve her well in her other lines for Mercenary, Black Moon Risin', Fresh Out the Box and SuperWhores," he added.
