Black Scorpion, Lucom Sign Worldwide Distro Deal

NEW YORK - Gay adult studio Black Scorpion Entertainment has signed an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement with Lucom USA LLC. The deal covers DVDs produced under the Black Scorpion brand as well as subsidiary all-sex line Black Rat.

"We are thrilled and honored that Lucom has agreed to distribute our product worldwide," said Black Scorpion Marketing and Promotions Director James Ian. "Lucom is known for its integrity and impeccable brand management. They are the perfect company to take Black Scorpion and Black Rat to the next level in the adult marketplace."

Lucom, an international brand-management firm with offices in Luxembourg and New York City, is an affiliate of Pjur Group, a manufacturer of global lubricant and enhancement brands sold in more than 58 countries. Richard Harris, chief executive officer of Lucom USA, said his company was happy to attract its first gay adult studio client.

"This is an exciting new partnership" Harris said. "The quality of the Black Scorpion product and brand really impressed me. It's not an easy business with so many studios out there, but this is a real quality product that sells."

The first film expected to be released under the Lucom deal is Sex Hiker, set for release in November. Sex Sessions Vol. 1, directed by Black Scorpion exclusive D.O., is scheduled for release in December.

Black Scorpion's exclusive video-on-demand deal with Sureflix Digital Distribution will not be affected by the DVD-distribution deal.
