Black Rayne, Flava Works Sign Distro Deal

MIAMI - Black Rayne Productions LLC, a producer of ethnic gay adult entertainment, has signed a deal under which Flava Works will distribute Black Rayne's content.

"I'm excited about this relationship and look forward to working with Flava Works," Black Rayne chief executive Que said. "It was a no-brainer when proposed, as Flava Works is a huge asset in the ethnic gay adult entertainment industry."

Charlotte, N.C.-based Black Rayne has a satellite office in Atlanta. The company provides male stripper management services in both locations.

Founded in 2006, Black Rayne gained attention for its first releases by posting them to then-controversial adult video-sharing site XTube.com. Since then the company's bareback scenes have enjoyed more than five million hits on XTube.

According to Que, the partnership with Flava Works will allow Black Rayne to broaden its audience.

"Our content speaks to the voyeur in everyone," Que said. "Our videos make you feel like you are a fly on the wall."

In addition, he said an atypical "lights, camera, action" approach to shooting differentiates his content from that produced by other gay ethnic studios.

Black Rayne expects to release its first DVD, Breed It Raw, on April 27. The DVD will be available exclusively through Flava Works Distribution and the online store at CocoStore.com.

Black Rayne Productions is the third production company under the Flava Works Distribution umbrella. The other two are XY Studios and Rockafellaz Entertainment.
