CHICAGO - In August, Bijou Theater's Spotlight Series will focus on the career of Michael Christopher, a gay adult star of the 1980s. The theater will host a screening of selected titles from Christopher's body of work Aug. 11-13.
In an era of lithe, swimmer body types, Christopher stood out with a more muscular build. The combination of his build, height, 10-inch dick and demeanor made him a natural top. He appeared in more than 30 titles in fewer than five years, working for studios including NOVA Productions, Catalina, Buckshot, HIS Video and Bijou Video.
Titles selected for screening are Pleasure Beach (HIS Video/VCA, 1983) on Monday, Aug. 11, Juice (Massive Studios, 1985) on Tuesday, Aug. 12 and A Few Good Men (Bijou Video, 1983) on Wednesday, Aug. 13. Screenings will begin at 8 p.m. each night with a brief presentation on Christopher's career.
Bijou Theater offers a special $20 Spotlight Series ticket that is good for admission all three nights. Tickets may be purchased in advance or any night during the run of the series.
