CHICAGO - After receiving a healthy response at film festivals, Bijou World has pushed up the DVD release of "The Erotic Films of Peter DeRome" to early October.
The London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival screened "Peter DeRome" this past spring, and both Seattle's and Chicago's film fests are adding it to their schedules in October and November, respectively, with fests in Canada, Australia, Italy, and Germany expressing interest in screening it as well.
The film compiles eight shorts from director Peter DeRome: 1969's "Double Exposure," 1971's "Hot Pants," 1970's "The Second Coming," 1972's "Daydreams From a Crosstown Bus," "Prometheus," "Underground," and "Mumbo Jumbo," and "Green Thoughts" from 1970/71.
The film is being restored, then Bijou will have a new digital master created along with new artwork.
