Bijou Releases "Beat Cop" on DVD

CHICAGO - Bijou Video has re-released the 1992 jack-off masterpiece Beat Cop on DVD. Written and directed by then-newcomer Dave Babbit, the movie was named "Best J/O Film of 1992" by AVN.

Donnie Russo plays the title role, a cop checking out a series of complaints on his beat only to come upon four men pleasuring themselves. Responding to a call about "lewd conduct" Russo discovers Italian beefcake Tony Lattanzi, who winds up blowing his load in front of a three-sided mirror. Then, while answering a call about a possible burglary in progress, he finds muscular Puerto Rican Eddie Acosta tied naked to a chair facing a TV flashing gay porn. By the time Acosta frees himself, he just has to relieve himself.

Next Russo responds to a call about a blue substance leaking from an upstairs apartment. The investigation leads to a naked artist (Richard De Santis) covered in blue paint. He contorts to shoot a load on his face. Finally, a call regarding excessive noise leads Russo to bodybuilder Eddie Rodriguez, a carpenter wielding a power saw. Rodriguez makes good use of a few of his "hand" tools.

While driving home after work, Russo contemplates his crazy day and is forced to pull over and "pull off" some relief himself.

The new DVD edition of Beat Cop features new packaging and labeling. It is available from Bijou Video's website and select distributors of gay adult videos.
