BearParty to Co-Host Series of Social Events

SAN FRANCISCO - In conjunction with the publication of its Fall 2008 issue, BearParty magazine has announced it will co-host a series of ... well, bear parties at The Stud Bar. The first, scheduled for Nov. 30, will donate a portion of the proceeds to Magnet San Francisco and the Stop AIDS Project.

Bear Parties are "for everyone who appreciates bear culture, bears, big men and their admirers," a BearParty spokesman said. "Bear Parties offer a unique atmosphere for the bear community to gather and celebrate in the company of some of the hottest men in the community. There will be excellent music by some of today's best DJs, plus big and burly go-go dancers, drink specials, raffles, door prizes and delicious food, and a portion of the profit for every dance benefits selected local non-profit groups."

A $5 cover charge is required at the door.

The parties are co-sponsored by BIG! Productions, CyberBears, The Twisted Bear, Richard Meyerson, Steamworks, BearHunter SF, BigMuscleBears, Bearotic, and Bears of San Francisco.

The Fall 2008 issue of BearParty magazine will be available at bear bars and events worldwide beginning this weekend. An online version is available free with membership at the BearParty website.
