SAN FRANCISCO - BearParty Magazine is heading to Dallas for the Texas Bear Round-Up. The 13th annual event is scheduled to take place March 20-23 at the Crown Plaza Dallas Market Center. The magazine, which is co-sponsoring the event, will make its presence known at the CyberBears booth in the vendor area.
Magazine representatives also intend to attend Bearcelona, an annual celebration in Barcelona, Spain.
In print and online since early 2007, BearParty is a digest-sized, bi-monthly publication distributed for free at bear bars, clubs and events internationally. Each glossy, full-color issue includes bear comics, bear galleries, features about bear-friendly events, celebrities, trends, products and news.
"Our hot CoverBear this month, Alfa Bear, was discovered at IBR in San Francisco this year," an email from the magazine stated. "We've got more pictures of him inside, along with part two of Ken Slater's series on hooking up with bears online, some sound health advice from Frank Strona, a revealing interview with hottie Thornton Grey of Grey Rose Productions and a detailed look at the growing bear scene in hot and friendly Phoenix by local reporter Kurt Von Behrman.
