VAN NUYS, CALIF. - Men of Odyssey has made its new hit, "Jim Steel's Beach House Diaries," available in VOD and PPV on its site, MenOfOGV.com.
Odyssey's Bob East said, "In this new market, VOD and downloading have become as common as rentals became in the '80s. We were advised to hold off a while to put this on the web because it was thought that it would hurt sales of the title. But we have had so many inquiries about VOD that we figured we'd give it a try on our own site, which is still under construction. So this is like having a private screening room."
The site connects to SunshineDVD.com, which also has many of the older Men of Odyssey titles. "Beach House Diaries" is the studio's first film in five years.
East said, "Sunshine has a state-of-the-art delivery system and will enable the consumer to have the best possible experience for their equipment type through its options. We have had a terrific response to the movie and the reviews have been great. We couldn't have asked for more from our first new release in some time."
"Beach House Diaries" stars include Jesse Santana, Brant Moore, Brad Benton, Cole Ryan, and Tory Mason.
