SAN FRANCISCO—Director Gavin Lowe said he is proud of the new DVD his web-based studio, BangBangBoys, released last week under the Raging Stallion label. Latins Do It Better exhibits all the reckless heat for which BangBangBoys is known, he said, and that is satisfying on an artistic level. Having fun on the set made the entire experience all the more pleasant.
“This was a fun video to shoot, and when I say fun, I mean the type of fun you can only get with two very sexy guys,” Lowe said. “Check out the end of the films to see what you missed on set. Watch the gag reel—funny shit.”
With six hardcore vignettes, the DVD isn’t much on plot. It is, however, long on the kind of sexual heat for which Latin men are notorious, Lowe said. Felix, Poax, Marc, Denis, Andre, Marcio, Stanley, Kaio, James and Rafael hold nothing back from each other or the camera.
The duality of Marc’s nature particularly impressed Lowe.
“He may give you the impression he’s a bad boy, but don’t let him fool you,” Lowe warned. “He just loves to act like a naughty kid. Marc is a very relaxed kinda guy. The minute he gets to know you, he gets comfortable and the real Marc comes out and he starts playing around. This shoot started really well and only got better.”
Rafael surprised the director during his solo scene.
“The day Rafael walked into my office, I knew he would be amazing,” Lowe admitted. “He’s young, smooth, buff and innocent, and I knew I was going to have fun working with him. It turns out he wasn’t so innocent after all, and when you check out his action for yourself, you will see what I mean. I have a feeling I will be able to get away with a lot of things with Rafael, so stay tuned to see just how far this ‘straight’ guy will go.”
