COCOA, Fla. – After celebrating its 14th anniversary in May, gay adult mega-site Badpuppy plans to continue the celebration in July by offering affiliates of its PuppyCash program a chance to share in a $2,500 cash award.
“We’re calling the July promotion ‘Badpuppy’s Stimulus Payout,’” Marketing and Advertising Manager Lisa Turner said. “With the economy the way it is, we figured that most everyone would appreciate a bonus payout, and this is a way to excite our current affiliate base, rather than necessarily increase affiliate sign ups.”
Turner said the company “tossed around several ideas” about how to reward loyal affiliates and encourage underperforming affiliates to increase their production. Eventually the Badpuppy staff came up with a plan the company feels will be fair to large and small players alike: The three affiliates with the most improved sales records during the month of July, compared to June’s figures, will split the prize. On top of their increased commissions, the first-place winner will receive $1,200, second place $800 and third place $500.
“This gives every affiliate an opportunity not only to increase their commissions, but put the added bonus of a stimulus payout right in their pockets as well,” Turner said. “The smaller to mid-sized affiliates who may not be promoting Badpuppy or the other sites at PuppyCash to their best ability have far more opportunity to beat the big boys on this one.
“We’ve run promotions for our affiliates in the past and found that many of the same webmasters were either winning the promotions or benefiting more than most other affiliates,” Turner continued. “We wanted to offer something this time around that would level the playing field a bit more and give all affiliates a fair shake at making the most of this promotion.”
In order to participate, affiliates must have signed up before June 1. Details about “Badpuppy’s Stimulus Payout” may be found here. Questions and comments may be directed to Turner via email.
“We’re very excited about this promotion and hope our affiliates are as well,” Turner said.
