SAN FRANCISCO - Famed fetish director and photographer Julie Simone is exhibiting her photos this weekend at the Femina Potens gallery (2199 Market Street, 415-217-9340), featuring photos of gay porn star Cole Ryder.
Simone says, "I was having a lot of problems finding the right model, someone who matched the image in my head of what a leather daddy should look like. To me, leather daddies are the manliest of all men, they have muscles and hairy chests. It's hard to find men with hairy chests in Los Angeles, which is a shame because I think they're really sexy. I met Cole Ryder at an in-store signing and he was PERFECT!"
Ryder said of working with Simone, "In my past photo shoots I'm always represented as a hard, rough, sometimes mean leather daddy; it was really nice to be able to show a more gentle, human side of a leather man's life."
The opening reception is being held at the gallery Friday, September 28, from 7 to 10 p.m. The exhibit will be open through Sunday, October 28.
