"Amazônia": The Natives Aren't Just Restless

SAN FRANCISCO - Athletic Model Guild has begun shipping AMG Brasil's two-part gay porn thriller, "Amazônia: Capture" and "Amazônia: Release." The films, which star the late Danny Roddick and a cast of Brazilian studs, comprise the studio's most ambitious project to date. Shot in exotic jungle and beach locations, they star a cast of 18 and were lensed outdoors in multiple stages over two months.

"We really put everything we had into this project, and I think it shows," said AMG president and creative director Dennis Bell. "The "Amazônia" films are a culmination of everything that myself and my Brazilian crew have learned over the past 10 productions about shooting in that country and finding the biggest horse-hung young men that Rio has to offer."

"The story is about an American who is captured by a tribe of horny, homosexual Amazon Indians," promotions manager Christopher Trout revealed. "It's pretty much all based on a chase. The tribe hunts the boy down, which involves a lot of naked jungle running, and culminates in a tribal gang-bang sacrifice. It sounds a bit brutal, but it's also quite romantic. One of the tribesmen falls hard for Danny."

Roddick was the first American actor to join AMG in Brazil for production. He spent two weeks in Rio de Janeiro during filming.

"We are just happy to have been able to work with him," Bell said. "Danny was a passionate man. He was so full of life, and I know, personally, that his time spent in Brazil was priceless to him."

Despite industry gossip concerning Roddick's passing, reviewers have praised "Amazônia" as Bell's best work to date.

"It's fanciful and fantastic, but also rooted in [Bell's] patented brand of horse-cock worship," Butch Harris of ManNet noted.

Although Brazilian Ricardo Onça has engaged in quite a bit of on-screen fucking, he said "Amazônia" was by far his favorite film.

"I loved every fucking minute of it," Onça said. "The boys, the costumes, the characters... I got really into it. By the time it was over, I was ready to start on part three."

"Amazônia: Capture" and "Amazônia: Release" are available exclusively at the AMG website store. "Amazônia: Capture" will hit the street Oct. 30, and "Amazônia: Release" will be available in retail locations on Dec. 7.
